Millfield Summer Performance Course.
Millfield School, Street, Somerset. 13th-17th August 2006
This multi-weapon, residential course is certainly the largest, and probably the best known of all the courses available in the UK. In excess of 200 fencers and dozens of coaches attend, under the overall direction of Professor Norman Golding (England Senior/Junior Coach). The majority of fencers are under 18, but significant numbers of adults also attend.

Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys, Canterbury, Kent. (note, this is a change to the previous venue at Junior Kings in Sturry).
24th July 2006 - 4th August 2006 (inc) all weapons. Coaches as per Feb course, plus Zsolt and Tamas Nemeth (both Hungary). £140 for either week, Monday to Friday, or £280 for the fortnight (non-residential), maximum 20 participants per weapon. This covers a 6hr day, including one lesson.
At all Canterbury courses, extra lessons can be booked in advance, subject to availability. Accommodation can also be booked at preferential rates through the course director.
The Canterbury coaches are outstanding, and attract a wide variety of abilities. Sabre is particularly well served.

Robert Kiss is organising this camp in Hungary at the beginning of the school holidays. The price of £260 (fencers) or £160 (non-fencers) DOES NOT COVER flights, but at least it means that you can book a budget deal from your nearest airport. Robert can normally collection from the airport at the other end.
