Southern Regional Calendar 2005/6

(This is a provisional calendar. All dates, times and venues subject to change)

 

 BFA membership is compulsory for all competitions. Cards will be checked. Regulation clothing must be worn at all events, including breeches. Size 2 blades to be used for U14 Epee & Sabre, Size 3 blades, or less, to be used for U12/14 foil. Size 0 to be used for U9 foil.

 Age groups U12 born 1994/95/96, U14 born 1992/93, U16 born 1990/91, U18 born 1988/89.

 Fencers can only enter 1 regional qualifying competition for the region of their home address or if they regularly attend a club/school within the region. Fencers must also be UK resident.

 Anyone qualifying for the BYC’S national Finals will have to pay an additional amount. Please have this available on the day of the Regional competition.

 Any fencer who is trying to qualify for Cadet/ Junior teams and whose regional qualifier clashes with a nominated competition should contact the appropriate weapons captain for a bye.

 Entry forms and fees made payable to BFA Southern & sent to the secretary. These should be received no later than 2 weeks prior to the event, complete with names, addresses and contact details, BFA numbers. Juniors must also include their date of birth. If a map is required please enclose a stamped address envelope.

 NO FOOD OR DRINK TO BE CONSUMED IN SPORTS HALLS and NO OUTDOOR SHOES IN SPORTS HALLS.
