Every year, the Southern Fencing committee organises the BYC qualifiers for all weapons for the following age groups: U12, U14, U16 and U18.

Usually held in Swindon in February and March, the qualifiers are the opportunity for all young fencers of the region to meet with their peers and give their best to qualify for the British Youth Championships that take place in Sheffield during the first May Bank Holiday weekend.
